"I am quiet alone. I am neither happy nor unhappy; I lie suspended like a hair or a feather in the cloudy mixtures of memory." - Lawrence Durrell
For over twenty years, writing has been more than a practice for me—it has been a way of existing. What began as an instinct to put feelings into words slowly grew into a lifelong dialogue with myself, where every page became both a refuge and a revelation.
My work often finds its roots in the simplest elements—colors, words, silence, and time—yet it seeks to explore the depth hidden within them. I write to understand what it means to feel, to endure, and to keep moving forward even when the path is uncertain. There is a quiet belief that runs through my writing: that expression is survival, and that unspoken thoughts carry their own kind of weight.
Beyond poetry and reflective writing, I also used to share my voice through my food blog Asan Khana, where I explore the warmth of everyday cooking, simple recipes, and the stories that live within a kitchen. On Medium, my writing expands into a broader canvas—thoughts, experiences, and reflections that connect the personal with the universal.
Across the years, my voice has evolved, but the intent remains the same—to give form to emotions that are often left unnamed. Whether through poetry, prose, or food writing, I try to create spaces where vulnerability and strength can coexist, where darkness is not just an end but a passage toward light.
For me, writing is not just about telling stories; it is about living them, releasing them, and allowing them to find their place beyond me.
I share my musings on Instagram too. You can find my words at @notyet100 and my art at @notyet100art.
